Hmm. I'm not sure what to do then. The main problem with it is that it would make it difficult to switch away from Mailman, which I would like to do eventually since it doesn't seem well-maintained. (I think Hyperkitty *can* be used for non-Mailman lists, but I've never seen it done.) It's unlikely I'll get to switching any time soon anyway, but the more people get used to Hyperkitty the more difficult that would be. It feels like the local maximum is to keep it around while we're using Mailman for those who know it exists, without growing the set of people who might be unhappy if it went away.
