Hi!  I think a large part of what you've seen here is going to be that
I've been working on the server doing some upgrades for the past couple
of hours, so services have been being restarted a bunch.  If you feel
like trying again tomorrow, I'd be interested to know if the problem
persists during normal server operation.

Some better infrastructure is planned once I have some more funds
available. :)
